Rocklyn Ram Sales

On-property ram sale

Rocklyn holds an annual on-property ram sale in late September every year. Following this, grade rams are available through private sales.

2026 on-property ram sale

The 2026 Rocklyn Merino Stud on-property ram sale will be held on Thursday 24 September 2026. One hundred poll Merinos by leading sires will be offered via auction, to be conducted by Kevin Miller, Whitty, Lennon and Co. with sales settled by AWN.

The sale is held under shelter at 343 Barkers Rd Greenethorpe, with morning tea, lunch and refreshments provided. Inspections start at 10am, with the auction commencing at 1pm. We encourage prospective buyers to get there early to make sure they register and have time to view all the rams and have a cuppa.

Ralph is able to assist with ram selections to meet your breeding objectives. If you need help, be sure to contact him prior to the sale date.

Our catalogue can be downloaded by clicking the link below. Lots are posted onto RamSelect prior to the sale as well.

2025 on-property ram sale results

The 2025 on-property ram sale was held on Thursday 25th September. Seventy-two lots sold for an average of $2,253, with a good percentage of the remaining lots sold immediately after the sale. The top priced ram was Lot 21, sold to newcomers, the Blaxlands, from Tamworth for $6,250. This ram also happened to be the designated lot for the Peter Westblade Scholarship fundraiser, so all proceeds of this ram went towards this worthwhile cause.

Volume buyers on the day included McKellar Pastoral Co with 13 rams, TH Cooper and Co with 11, SH Robertson with 8, Warralong Pastoral Co with 8 and Greendale Family Trust with 6. Read more about the sale here.
